I don’t know what to think of this other than WOW. I loved it.
I find their style interesting and unique and it seems as though it would be very difficult to do. I listened to it twice, first as a whole and the second time I attempted to listen to each girl individually. They all had very different roles to play in the piece which were interesting, however it sounded better all together. During many parts of the piece, I felt as though I was in a rainforest. The sounds were very soothing yet the loud pitches were very harsh, it made me believe that there were exotic animals surrounding me everywhere. Who would have thought that a bunch of these annoying sounds could be put together and create such a beautiful piece of artwork.
This reminded me of the days in grade 6 that me and my best friend would constantly find interest in making loud, high pitched noises just like these 3 women were doing. We would constantly annoy both our families and friends when we were together as we’d compete at trying to make the most annoying sound. It was actually really fun and very time consuming. Maybe if we knew that we were so talented (haha) we might have been able to create something like these women did. You know what, I might just do it…….
